Gary Allan is starting a new business.  He and his his stylist will be opening a new men’s store on Thursday in Nashville’s 12th South District.  The Label,  will sell custom suits, shirts, leather jackets, jewelry and even furniture.

Kenny Chesney wrapped up his Goin’ Coastal tour in Foxboro, MA over the weekend.  More than 106,000 fans saw the final 2 shows despite the bad weather caused by Hurrican Irene.  Before the shows, Kenny managed to get a little practice time in with the New England Patriots.

Taylor Swift played 4 shows in L.A. last week and had a chance to spend some time with some of her famous friends.  Taylor was spotted having lunch with Reece Witherspoon on Friday.  Ellen Degeneres showed up onstage at one of the shows.  Taylor also spent some time writing a song with Justin Bieber.  Justin reportedly played a prank on Taylor that will air on the season premiere of MTV’s Punk’d

The new season of Dancing With The Stars begins September 19.  Here’s the new cast:

Chaz Bono,  Elisabetta Canalis (Italian model-actress and former girlfriend of George Clooney),  Rob Kardashian, Hope Solo (U.S. women’s soccer star) J.R. Martinez (Brot Monroe, All My Children) Chynna Phillips,  Kristin Cavallari, Nancy Grace, David Arquette, Ron Artest, Carson Kressley, Ricki Lake.

Carrie Underwood will join Tony Bennett’s 85th birthday celebration to raise money for the needy.  The concert will also include performances from John Mayer and Stevie Wonder and takes place September 24th, one day after Carrie and Tony appear on the season premiere of Blue Bloods.

Martina McBride has 3 daughters at home.  She says while they are all talented, she’s not sure if they’ll follow in mom’s footsteps.

Miranda Lambert will talk about her solo career, her new band, the Pistol Annies and life with new husband, Blake Shelton tonight on Dateline (9pm NBC).   Blake and Miranda will be working on music together but it’s not a duet album.  The couple will produce the new album from Neil McCoy.

The Band Perry will headline their first show at the Ryman Auditorium on February 12th and tickets for the show sold out in 20 mins.

Shania Twain recently auctioned off the shoes she was wearing when she took a fall at the CMT Awards earlier this year.  After 63 bids, the shoes sold for $9,000.  The money will go to her charity, Shania Kids Can.

Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock have been married for 22 years.  Reba says the secrets are “Respect, love, trust and lots of patience”.  She also has a few role models to learn from.

Billy Ray won’t be the only new grandpa in country music, George Strait‘s son, Bubba and his wife are expecting their first child in February.  Bubba is a co-writer on George’s latest single, Here For A Good Time.

Taylor Swift is nominated for an MTV Video Music Award.  Her video for Mean will compete in the category, Best Video With A Message.  The awards will be handed out Sunday night.

A source says David Arquette has signed on for the next season of Dancing With The Stars.  He has reportedly been seen in the rehearsal studio with dancing pro Kym Johnson.  We’ll find out if it’s true when the newest Dancing With The Stars cast is announced during Monday night’s episode of Bachelor Pad.

According to actor Dan Akroyd, filming of Ghostbusters 3 will begin early next year with or without Bill Murray.

Dierks Bentley has announced his next Miles and Music for Kids event will take place in Chicago on October 9th.  His tourmates, Jerrod Niemann and the Eli Young Band will join him for the charity motorcycle ride and concert to raise money for the Children’s Musical Network.

John Rich has put his first home on the market. He bought the home with the money he earned from the Big & Rich hit, Save A Horse Ride a Cowboy and Gretchen Wilson‘s Redneck Woman.  John has moved into a home right around the corner  and promises to drop by with a bottle of champagne to welcome his new neighbors. Check out a video of the home and find out which of his famous friends have written songs in the home. 

Steel Magnolia and Phil Vassar will perform songs from Sir Paul McCartney at the Let Us In: Women and Cancer benefit on November 7th.  The concert will be filmed for dvd release.

To celebrate the release of their new albm, Own The Night, Lady Antebellum will perform three unplugged shows.  They’ll be making stops in New York (September 13) , and L.A. (September 15) and in Chicago (September 10th).  

Miranda Lambert and her girl band, Pistol Annies, released their first album on Tuesday and has already hit number one on iTunes.  Miranda tweeted this morning that she and the girls are taking a vacation.

Billy Ray Cyrus is going to be a grandpa.  His adopted son, Trace and his girlfriend, Disney channel star, Brenda Song, are expecting their first child.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have a new neighbor.  Taylor Swift has reportedly purchased a historic,  $2.5 million estate in Music City for her family, near the couple.  The 5,600 square foot, 4 bedroom home was built in the 30′s by Guilford Dudley Jr, a former US Ambassador to Denmark .

 George Strait will release a new studio album in September but that’s not it.  He will also be releasing another greatest hits package.  George Strait- Icon will feature 11 of George’s signature songs and will be available on September 13th.

Scotty McCreery experienced his first earthquake yesterday.  The American Idol tour was in Uniondale, NY when the 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit the east coast.  Scotty tweeted that he’s lived in California for the last few months and he thought it would’ve happened there.

Taylor Swift had a surprise guest at her show last night in L.A.  Justin Bieber joined Taylor onstage and the two performed his hit song, Baby.  Justin is dating Taylor’s BFF, Selena Gomez.

Oprah had an entire season to say goodbye to viewers so it’s only fair that Regis do the same.  The Regis Farewell Celebration Season begins on September 5th.  Throughout the season Live will spotlight some his top moments and some of his favorite guests will return for one last visit.  Regis will wrap up his 28 seasons with the show in November.

Rumors were flying yesterday that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith were calling it quits.  Turns out those rumors were false.  They’ve been married for 13 years and say that they are usually reluctant to respond to reports like this but wanted fans to know their marriage is still very much intact.

Alan Jackson and Patty LaBelle  will perform at the Washington National Cathedral on September 11 to mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.  A Concert For Hope will air on ABC affiliates nationwide.

Joe Jonas says he would like to collaborate with Taylor Swift someday.  Despite their breakup the two are still friendly and Jonas says it could happen.

Kellie Pickler is excited and a little bit nervous about making her acting debut on 90210.   No air date has been announced for Kellie’s appearance.  The show airs on the CW network.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are expecting baby number 3.  The new addition will join big sisters, Violet, 5 and Seraphina, 2.  The couple has been married for six years.

Garth Brooks sat down for an interview with Parade magazine recently and said it will still be a few years before he heads back to the studio.  Garth is going to remain “on a break” until his girls are out of the house then he’ll go back to record new music and hit the road for a big tour.  Right now he is performing his one man shows at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort.

Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks will inducted into the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in the songwriter-artist category.  Alan has written or co-written 24 of his 35 number one songs.  The induction ceremony will take place October 16th in Nashville.

Jason Aldean has announced that his September 30th show in Virginia will double as his 6th Annual Concert for the Cure fundraiser.  Proceeds from the show will go to the Susan G. Komen for the  Cure breast cancer charity.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will celebrate their 15th anniversary in October and Mattel is honoring the  superstar couple with Tim and Faith dolls.  The set will be available in September at BarbieCollector.com.

Paris Hilton has been voted the least trustworthy celebrity.  In a recent poll, 60% of Americans said they do not trust her.  Charlie Sheen had 52% of the vote, Brittany Spears 45% and Tiger Woods 42%.  Betty White was ranked Most Trustworthy celebrity.

More changes are being made to this years MDA Telethon.  Not only will Jerry Lewis be absent from the Labor Day weekend event but it will be cut down from 22 hours to 6 prime time hours in an effort to boost audience numbers and raise more money.

Sugarland‘s, Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles have taken a few days off to spend time with their families and try to process the tragedy at the Indiana State Fair on Saturday night.  They are planning their own private memorial to honor the fans who were killed.  Sugarland will resume their tour tomorrow night.

Dierks Bentley says he considered for a long time joining the cast of Celebrity Apprentice but it’s not going to happen.  With his family and his music, Dierks just doesn’t have the time right now.

Shania Twain is auctioning off the shoes that caused her embarrassing fall at the CMT Awards back in June.  Proceeds will go to the Shania Kid Can charity.

Rodney Atkins is about to get real busy out on the road promoting his new album.   Take A Back Road will be available October 4.

Now that her reality show has been canceled Kate Gosselin says she would like to do a movie.  You may not see her on the big screen though.  She says she would love to do the voice of a cartoon character for her kids.

The Bowling Proprieters Association of America gave the public the chance to vote for their favorite celebrity bowler.  Miley Cyrus beat out Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Jeff Bridges and Lady Gaga.
